The Study on Wild Plant Resources in Jindongnan Mountainous Region in Shanxi

Jindongnan Mountainous region,located in the south-east of Shanxi,is one of the tourist attractions in Shanxi Province,as well as a famous national forest park.There are various wild plant resources in the Jindongnan mountainous region,including spermatophyte125families,512genera,1090species based on the survey.According to their economic uses,they are divided into12groups:(1)fiber plants98,(2)oil plants147,(3)fragrant plants66,(4)tannin plants65,(5)starch plants98,(6)fruit plants136,(7)honey plants88,(8)forage plants166,(9)medicinal plants426,(10)farm chemical plants72,(11)vegetable plants68,(12)ornament plants239.Moreover,some strategies for protecting and utilizing the wild plant resources are presented in the paper.
