Characteristics and Application of Anaerobic Baffled Reactor

The characteristics of anaerobic baffled reactor are introduced in this paper.The research about the start-up and the application of ABR are expounded.It pointed out that ABR is a novel and highly effective biological treatment technology.It has notable advantages such as high activity of microorganism,good resilence to shock load,good adaptation to toxic materials,good effection the separation of sludge and liquid flexible operation and stable effect on treatment,etc.Anaerobic baffled reactor has high value of research and promising future to high concentration industrial organic wastewater and toxic organic wastewater.
