Research and application of anaerobic baffled reactor for wastewater treatment

Abstract

The research progress on application of anaerobic baffled reactor(ABR) for wastewater treatment in China and abroad was summarized.The advantages and disadvantages of ABR were analyzed from the aspects of startup,influent mode,effluent recycle,carrier addition,and low strength and high strength wastewater treatment.Based on the above analysis,the research and development direction of ABR was prospected.
