Abstract
The mechanism and the design principle of the anaerobic baffled reactor(ABR) for wastewater treatment is presented. The reactor has several advantages over well established systems such as better resilience to hydraulic and organic shock loadings, longer biomass retention times, lower sludge yields, and the ability to partially separate between the various phases of anaerobic catabolism.
A significance statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
A contribution statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
Method details are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Findings are not separately available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Limitations are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Application details are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
