Abstract

Explants from tuber of Amorphophallus albusTB were cultured in media based on MS medium. Different concentrations of different growth regulators were added into those media. Results showed that callus was induced and differentiated easily from explants cultured in media consisted of MS+0.5 mg·L~(-1)6-BA+0.5 mg·L~(-1) NAA, MS+0.5 mg·L~(-1 )6-BA+0.5 mg·L~(-1) 2,4-D and MS +1.0 mg·L~(-1) 6-BA+1.0 mg·L~(-1) 2,4-D(The induction rates were 92%,96% and 93% respectively); Callus was differentiated easily in media consisted of MS+1.0 mg·L~(-1) 6-BA+0.1 mg·L~(-1) NAA, MS+1.0 mg·L~(-1) 6-BA+0.5 mg·L~(-1) NAA(The differentiation rates were 86% and 52% respectively). The adventitious roots and shoots cultured in MS+1.0 mg·L~(-1) 6-BA+0.1 mg·L~(-1) NAA were transferred into MS medium, 30 days later regenerated plants were cultured from them.
