Abstract
Solutions with copper concentration of 1.0,4.0,8.0mg/L,solutions with lead concentration of 1.0,4.0,8.0mg/L and mixed solutions of copper and lead with the concentration of 1.0+1.0,4.0+4.0,8.0+8.0,8.0+1.0,1.0 +8.0mg/L are respectively used to conduct acute exposure experiment on Carassius auratus. Then, blood smears were made with bloods taken from the tails of Carassius auratus which had been respectively exposed to those solutions for a druation of 24h,48h,and 72h,and count micronucleus of red blood cells with the microscope. The results showed: whether the exposure of copper and lead is singular or joint,a rather high occurrence of micronucleus for the red blood cells of Carassius auratus is observed; The combined exposure of copper and lead demonstrates their synergy in genetic toxicity on Carassius auratus, and this effect is particularly apparent in the mixed solution with low concentration of copper and lead; The repair capacity of red blood cells of Carassius auratus after being injured by copper is obviously better than that by lead.
