Abstract
Objective To investigate the operation method and effect of lumbar nerve root epineurolysis decompresison for severe nerve compression syndromes. Methods 46 cases of lumbar nerve compression syndromes with severe extremity end numbness and radicular pain were undergone operation. All were performed local decompression and epineurolysis. Results The symptom disappeared in 24 hours in 22 cases and in 15 days in 24 cases, with 6 days on average. Conclusions After extra neural decompression, epineurolysis can significantly release the symptom of lumbar nerve compression syndromes and improve the neural function recovery.
