Abstract
Objective To investigate the CT value in diagnosing chest trauma .Method36cases with chest trauma were stud-ied with CT and analyzed retrospectively. Results On CT,contrusion of the lung were found in26cases,traumatic wet lung in6cases,hematoma of lung in2cases,cyst of lung in1cases,atelectasis and collaps of lung in4cases,pneumothorax or hemothorax in14cases,subcutaneous and mediastinal emphysema 10,chest and abdomen trauma 10cases,including splenic rupture2,hepatorrexis1,liver and duodenum trauma 1case,and other trauma :including thoracic vertebral fracture5,ribs fracture14,clavicular fracture1,frac-ture of scapula2.Conclusion CT can correctly make the diagnosis of position, character and degree of traumatic lesions,CT has high sensitivity and specificity than X-ray films ,it is important method for the diagnosis of chest trauma ,and provide reliable information for clinical diagnosis and treatment.
