Abstract
Objective:To evaluate the value of 64-slice CT in diagnosis of chest trauma.Methods:64-slice CT scan was performed in 68 cases of chest trauma. The conditions were reconstructed by various advanced postprocesssing functions of 64-slice CT.Results:CT scanning showed fracture of rib in 68 cases, complicated with lung trauma in 41 cases, hydropneumothorax in 42 cases, pneumothorax in 12 cases, pulmonary atelectasis in 7 cases and rupture in trachea in 4 cases. Conclusion:CT examination is effective in evaluating condition of chest trauma and providing evidence for clinical diagnosis.CT is one of the important examination methods on chest trauma.
