Abstract

OBJECTIVE: To investigate the use of antibiotics in the inpatients of our hospital in order to provide references for rational use of antibiotics in the clinic.METHODS: In this retrospective survey,320 medical charts of inpatients who discharged from our hospital in June 2006 were randomly selected.The use of antibiotics in 135(135/320) was analyzed statistically.RESULTS: 6 groups(36 kinds) of antibiotics were involved.Leading the first 3 places were β-lactam enzyme inhibitor,Quinolones and nitromidazol.CONCLUSION: The result shows that the use of antibiotics was rational on the whole,but there are some problems remain to be tackled.The rational use of antibiotics remains to be improved further.
