Abstract
OBJECTIVE: To investigate the utilization of the antibiotics in the inpatients of our hospital,and to analyze the irrational behavior in the application of antibiotics so as to provide reference for clinical rational use of antibiotics. METHODS: A total of 320 inpatients including 160 surgical cases and 160 non - surgical cases treated with antibiotics were collected for analysis of the use of antibiotics. RESULTS: The utilization of antibiotics in the 320 inpatients was far from perfect in respect of drug choice, drug combination, medication indications etc. CONCLUSION: There are many problems existing in the utilization of antibiotics in our hospital,thus further intervention measures should be taken to improve the rational use level of antibiotics.
