Abstract
Using immature embryos of indica rice cultivar Teqing as explants, we investigated factors influencing plant regeneration. The results showed that MS+2.4- D 2 mg/L was the optimal induction medium and that pre -differentiation culture, dehydration treatment, sufficiently air - exchangeable state of the vessels, and decreasing sucrose concentration of differentiation medium could significantly increase the regeneration frequency of rice callus.
