Abstract
Objective: The present dissertation was aimed to study the effects of Tripterygium wilfordi i dilayer tablet on SLE,and discuss the mechanism so as to provide experimental and theoretical basis for SLEs therapeutics. Methods:The effects of Triptery gium wilfordii dilayer tablet was investigated on allergic Type Ⅲ reaction(immu ne complex type) with the response of Arthus in rabbits. Results:Our results s hows that Tripterygium wilfordii dilayer tablet can inhibit the response of Arth us ,increase the number of Ts cells and reduce the number of Th cells and decrea se levels of serum CIC,serum IL-2,IL-6 in rabbits. Conclusion: There results suggest that Tripterygium wilfordii dilayer tablet might have significant effect s on allergic typeⅢreaction, which supports the use of Tripterygium wi lfordii dilayer tablet as a good therapeutic effect drug on SLE.The immunopharm acologic mechanism of Tripterygium wilfordii dilayer tablet to treat SLE effecti vely might be that it could inhibited Th cells function and reduced the cytokini n formation(decreasing levels of serum IL-2,IL-6) , which might play a role in blocking B cells antibody production so as to decreasing levels of serum CIC .
