Abstract
Objective: To study the effects of Yigan Jianpi Fang on hepatic fibrosis. Methods: Fibrosis was induced in rats by subcutaneous injection of 40% CC14 oily solution treated with Colchicine as cotrol. The following parameters of hepatic fibrosis were determined. Results: The results indicatde the levels of serum and hepatic tissue were significantly lower. The Yigan Jianpi Fang can inhibit collagen synthesis in hepatocytes of rats fibrotic liver and reduce the deposition of extracellular matrix in the liver. Conclusion: The Yigan Jianpi Fang has inhibitrory effects on heptofibrosis.
