Clinical Observation of Applications of Full Ceramic Veneer in the Restoration for Aesthetic Teeth

Objective: To evaluate the efficacy of full ceramic veneer in aesthetic dentistry.Methods: 115 anteriors and premolars in 32 cases were restored with full ceramic veneer.The patients were recalled for evaluation postoperatively,at regular intervals of 1 week,6 months,1 year and 2 years respectively.The factors of evaluation included the veneers' integrity,fracture,the patients' satisfaction with color match,the marginal situation,sensitivity and the gingival health.Results: The study showed that during the periods of 2 year,96% veneers have excellent marginal fit and 93%veneers showed excellent gingival health.3 veneers were fractured and remade.All sensitive symptoms were disappear after 6 months.Conclusion: The study indicates that the restoration system from porcelain laminate veneer by slip casting is reliable and ideal choice in aesthetic dentistry.
