Clinical evaluation of Cerinate porcelain laminate veneers in the restoration for aesthetic teeth

Objective: To evaluate the efficacy of Cerinate porcelain laminate veneers in aesthetic dentistry. Methods: 382 anteriors and premolars in 58 cases were restored with Cerinate porcelain laminate veneers. The patients were recalled for evaluation postoperatively, at regular intervals of 1 week, 6 months, 1 year, 2 years, 3 years and 5 years respectively. The factors of evaluation included the veneers'debond, fracture, the marginal situation, the gingival health, the patients'satisfaction with the restorations, and so on. Results: The study showed that during the periods of 1 year, 100% veneers have excellent marginal fit and gingival health. The color of the veneers was stable and no evident staining was found. 2 veneers were fractured and remaded, and 3 veneers were rebonded after debond. 1 incisor's sensibility was gradually serious then received root canal treatment. All patients were satisfied with the restorations. Conclusion: The study indicates that the restoration system from Cerinate porcelain laminate veneer is reliable and ideal choice in aesthetic dentistry.
