Thinking about Enhancing Nurse-patient Communication Skills Training in Practice Teaching of Fundamentals of Nursing

With the transformation of the pattern of medicine and nurse science, Fundamentals of Nursing practice teaching should not only focus on professional knowledge and clinical nursing practice skills education, but should also pay attention to the nurse-patient communication skills training and strengthen and improve the overall quality of nursing students, meet the 21st Centurybiological - society-psychological - Technical (Engineering)medical model of care professionals needs. In this paper, the significance of enhancing nurse-patient communication skills training in practice teaching of Fundamentals of Nursing, the existing problems and developing the ability of nurse-patient communication method have been analyzed and discussed.
