Abstract
Objective To assess the synergistic effect of sufentanil combined with dezocine for the post- surgery patient controlled analgesia in patients undergoing upper abdominal surgery. Methods A total of 74 patients who scheduled for upper abdominal surgery were recruited in this study. The included 76 patients were randomized divided into experiment group( n = 35) and control group( n = 39). Patients in the experiment group were given sufentanil 1 μg · kg- 1+ ondansetron 8 mg + dezocine0. 4 mg·kg- 1+ 0. 9% NaCl 100 mL and other those in control group were given sufentanil 2 μg · kg- 1+ ondansetron 8 mg + 0. 9% NaCl 100 mL.The visual analogue scale( VAS) and Ramsay sedation score were recorded at the time points of 2,4,8,12 and 24 h after surgery in both groups. The post- surgery patient controlled analgesia( PCA) times and adverse drug reactions were recorded and compared between the two groups in 24 h after surgery. Results No statistical difference in VAS and Ramsay score was found in each time points between the two groups( P 0. 05). The PCA times in the two groups were not statistically different( P 0. 05). But the total rate of adverse drug reactions in the experiment and control group were 14. 29% and 48. 72%( P 0. 05).Conclusion Sufentanil combined with dezocine for the post- surgery analgesia has excellent synergistic effect, which can decrease the dosage of sufentanil and risk of developing adverse drug reactions.
