Clinical observation of diabetic gastroparesis treated with Shengqingjiangzhuo decoction

Objective To observe clinical effects of Shengqingjiangzhuo decoction combined with conventional therapy on the treatment of diabetic gastroparesis.Methods 80 patients with diabetic gastroparesis were randomly divided into two groups.The two groups were given diabetes routine basic treatments.Patients in the control group(n=40) were treated by domperidone and the treatment group(n=40) received Shengqingjiangzhuo decoction.The course was 30 days in two groups.Fasting blood sugar,postprandial blood sugar and gastric-emptying time were examined before and after treatment,and improvement of clinical symptoms was observed.Results The total effective rate in the treatment group(90%) was higher than that in the control group(70%,P0.05).Time of gastric-emptying was decreased after treatment in both groups compared with that before treatment.And compared with that in the control group it was decreased remarkably in the treatment group(P0.05).Postprandial blood sugar after treatment was obviously decreased in the treatment group as compared with that before treatment(P0.05).There was no difference between before and after treatment on postprandial blood sugar(P0.05).Conclusion Shengqingjianzhuo decoction has definite effect on diabetic gastroparesis.
