Therapeutic effect of modified Xiangshaliujunzi decoction on diabetic gastroparesis

Abstract
Objective To investigate the therapeutic effect of modified Xiangshaliujunzi decoction on diabetic gastroparesis. Methods 70 patients with diabetic gastroparesis were randomly divided into two groups.36 patients in treatment group were treated by modified Xiangshaliujunzi decoction,one dose daily,decoeted in water for oral dose;34 patients in control group were treated by domperidone tablets,10mg once,three times a day,with a treatment course of 2～3 weeks for both groups. The therapeutic effects were evaluated two months after stopping administration. Results The total effective rate was 94.4% in treatment group and 70.6% in control group,and there was a significant difference between two groups (P0.01). Conclusion The modified Xiangshaliujunzi decoction is effective in treating diabetic gastroparesis.
