Alteration of gastrin and somatostatin in blood in the children with chronic gastritis of Hp infections

Abstract
Objective:To study the changes of serum gastrin and somatostation in patients with chronic gastritis of Hp infections before and after having treated ones and their clinical significance.Moethods:We compared the gastrin and somatostatin scrum values of 34 Hp positivc and 38 Hp negativc chronic gastritis bcforc and aftcr having treated ones we applied radioimmunoassay technique to determine the gastrin and sornatostatin values in serum.Resuts:The level of gastrin in the serum of Hp positive patients with chronic gastritis were significantly highter than Hp negative patients( P 0 01)and the plasma somatostatin level in patients with Hp positive chronic gastritis were lower than that in patients with either Hp negative( P 0 01),after treated Hp positive patients.The plasma somatostatin level in patients with Hp positive chronic gastritis were highter lower than that in patients with Hp negative( P 0 01)and the plasma gastrin level in patients with Hp positive chronic gastritis were lower than that in patients with either Hp negative( P 0 01).Conclusion:Alteration of gastrin and somatostatin in blood in the children with chronic gastritis were related with Hp infections.
