Abstract
Objectives To evaluate the therapeutic efficacy of ureteroscope and pneumatic lithotripsy for the treatment of ureteral stones. Methods Clinical data of 49 cases of patients with ureteral stones treated with ureteroscope and pneumatic lithot ripsy were reviewed. Results In this group,93.9% (46/49) of the stones were fragmented at one session. Complications occurred in 2% (1/49 ) of the subjects. Conclusions Treatment of the ureteral stones with ureteroscope and pneumatic lithot ripsy is safe, effective and less invasive, which can be the first choice of treatment for stones in the middle and lower ureteral segments.
A significance statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
A contribution statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
Method details are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Findings are not separately available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Limitations are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
