Abstract
Objective: To evaluate of clinical effect for the ureteric stones by pneumatic lithotripsy under ureteroscope for ureteral calculi. Methods: 300 cases of ureteral calculus underwent pneumatic lithotripsy under ureteroscope for gravel and stone therapy. Results: Out of 300 cases of patients,46 failed with a ratio of 15.33%.After operation,we were compared the two groups and found upper ureteral calculi lithotripsy had a higher failure rate and a longer average operation time than that of middle and lower ureteral stones, differences were statistically significant(P0.01).Conclusion: Treatment of ureteral ureteric with pneumatic lithotripsy under ureteroscope is less invasive, safe, effective, but not ideal for upper ureteral calculi.
