Effect of Huangqi Injection in Reducing Microalbuminuria for Patients with Type 2 Diabetes

Abstract

Objective: To observe the effect of huangqi injection in reduction of microalbuminuria in Patients with type 2 diabetic nephropathy .Methods: 112 cases of type 2 diabetic nephropathy were divided into two groups,involved in a randomized control clinical trial. Control group total 56 cases were only given conventional diabetes treatment. In other group (treatment group, 56 cases) 30mL of huangqi was added to 500mL NS for intravenous injection every day for four weeks. Result: After treatment the excreted al-buminuria of patients in the treatment group significantly reduced compared with that before treatment. ( P 0.01) . Conclusion: Huangqi injection is notably effective in reducing microalbuminuria for type 2 diabetic nephropalhy.
