Effect of Insulin on Prognosis of Patients with Acute Cerebral Infarction Complicated Hyperglycemia

Abstract

Objective To investigate the effect of insulin on prognosis of patients with acute cerebral infarction(ACI) complicated hyperglycemia.Methods 74 cases of ACI were randomly divided into treatment group(36 cases) and control group(38 cases),receiving treatment of insulin and routine treatment respectively.Results The total effectiveness rate in treatment group was significantly higher than that in control group(80.6% vs 60.5%,P0.05),and had few side effects.Conclusion Insulin has protective effects on cerebral ischemic damage complicated hyperglycemia.
