Abstract

Objective:To investigate the stress hyperglycemia after hypertensivc cerebral hemorrhagc in the patients with nondia-betes and the influence of the insulin treatment on prognosis.Methods:Forty-nine hypersive cerebral hemorrhage patients with stress hyperglycaemia were divided into two groups according to Glasgow coma score(GCS):severe group, which score was 3~8 points and in-cluded 18 patients, and mild group, which score was 9~15 points and included 31 patients. The patients in each group were divided into the insulin treatment group and the control group at random. The results of the patients treated with Insulin for one month were investigat-ed.Results:GCS was significantly correlated with blood sugar level(P0.05).Insulin treatment could decrease the incidence rate of infec-tions complication and improve the prognosis in the severe group(P0.05).Conclusion:To monitor the lever of blood sugar is beneficial to understand the severity of cerebral hemorrhage and evaluate the prognosis.Insulin treatment can improve the prognosis of severe hyper-tensivc cerebral hemorrhagc.
