Abstract

Tuberculosis is a disease caused by a facultative intracellular pathogen-mycobacterium tuberculosis. Both specific immunity and non specific immunity are involved in protective immune response to mycobacterium.Futhermore, specific cellular immunity plays the most important roles, and the activation and propagation of T lymphocytes with αβ and γδ chains, play an important role in the immune response. In this article,we reviewed the current findings about the immunologic mechanism of host oppose mycobacterium tuberculosis infection.
