Abstract
Aimed at the problem of starting control of automatic clutch, the dynamic model of the clutch engagement and dynamic friction torque was founded and the engaging process of clutch was analyzed. A fuzzy control technology was used to control the clutch engagement process for automatic clutch during Starting process of a vehicle. Through establishing the simulation model in simulink, the control law was tested. The simulation results show that the control system can avoid the start shock and better respond to the starting intent of driver.
