Abstract
The endophytic fungi and the rhizosphere fungi of Diphylleia sinensis, which grow in Zhongdian county, Yunnan province, were isolated. As a result, 25 fungal isolates, belonging to 8 genera, 5 families, were isolated from the rhizomes of Diphylleia sinensis. Meanwhile, 19 fungal isolates, belonging to 6 genera, 5 families, were obtained from the rhizosphere soil of this plant. The results show the diversity of the two kinds of fungi respectively. The correlation between endophytic fungi and rhizosphere fungi, and the origin of endophytic fungi were studied, too.
