Study on angina pectoris with puerarin

Abstract

Objective To observe the clinical efficacy of puerarin on angina pectoris.Methods Sixty-eight angina pectoris patients were divided randomly into puerarin group(n=66)and control group(n=62).In addition to routine treatment,puerarin group was given puerarin injection for intravenous drip.Results The total improvement rate in symptoms was 95.5%.Conclusion Intravenous puerarin injection for myocardial ischemia offers good results.
