Therapeutic Effect of Acupuncture Treatment on "Treating Different Diseases with the Same Therapy"

Abstract
Objective:To evaluate and discuss the value of the acupuncture treatment on treating different diseases with the same therapy.Methods:108 cases of simple obesity and 105 cases of primary dysmenorrhea on liver depression with spleen insufficiency type patients were treated by combination of liver and spleen together cure for three months,and the changes of symptoms,signs,obesity indicators,dysmenorrhea symptom score were observed.Results:Acupuncture effective rate after the treatment for primary dysmenorrheal group was 96.30%,and simple obesity group was 97.41%.Conclusion:The acupuncture treatment(liver and spleen together cure)for simple obesity patients and primary dysmenorrhea on liver depression with spleen insufficiency type(the same syndrome but different diseases)has a good therapeutic effect,and it's one of the most effective mothods to the same syndrome but different diseases.
