Abstract

Objective To evaluate effects of different health education methods on patients with hypertension. Methods 60 hypertensive patients were randomly divided into comparative group and experimental group(n=30).The experimental group received different guiding of health education, such as lectures on high blood pressure basic knowledge and prescription form of hypertensive knowledge;the comparative group only received random health education. The effect of health education was compared between the both groups. Results The satisfaction degree of patients in the experimental group is significantly better than the comparative group(90% vs 40%).The understanding of health education contents in the experimental group is also much better than the comparative group(86.67% vs 53.30%).Conclusion Through health education, the patients can understand and master,in varying degrees, the knowledge of hypertension, pay more attention to the self-care and disease prevention. It's good for the treatment and prevention of diseases and the improvement of QOL of patients.
