Controlled Clinical Observation of Treating Gout Nephropathy by SHANGZHONGXIATONGFENGYAOFANG puls Western Medicine

[Objective] To study the clinical efficacy of SHANGZHONGXIATONGFENGYAOFANG in the treatment of gouty nephropathy.[Methods] 60 patients were divided into two groups,30 patients in the control group were given conventional therapy with TONGFENGLIXIAN,a drug to enhance uric acid excretion,with combination of uric acid synthesis inhibitor allopurinol.Thirty patients in the treatment group were treated with SHANGZHONGXIATONGFENGYAOFANG together with conventional therapy.The two groups were both treated for two courses,with four weeks as one course.Clinical efficacy was determined after two courses of treatment.[Results]Two groups in 8 weeks after treatment,serum uric acid values than before treatment has decreased significantly,Chinese medicine treatment group than the control group decreased significantly,the Chinese medicine group 24h quantity of urinary protein,blood urea nitrogen,serum creatinine values than the control group and the treatment is obviously decreased.The clinical efficacy for the treatment group is 83.30%,and 63.30% for the control group.Efficacy for the treatment group is higher than the control group.[Conclusion] The efficacy of SHANGZHONGXIATONGFENGYAOFANG in treatment of gouty nephropathy is confirmed.
