Abstract
Objective To evaluate the clinical efficacy and safety of calcium dobesilate in the treatment of diabetic nephropathy. Methods Ninety patients with diabetic nephropathy were randomly divided into control group(n = 45) and treatment group(n = 45).Patients in the control group were given comprehensive treatment of high-quality low-protein diet, moderate exercise, oral hypoglycemic drugs and / or subcutaneous insulin.Patients in the treatment group were based on the control group, given oral calcium dobesilate each 0.5 g,three times a day.Two groups were treated for 12 weeks.Comparison of urinary albumin excretion rate,24 hours urinary protein, blood serum creatinine, urea nitrogen, and adverse drug reactions in two groups before and after treatment. Results After treatment, the effective rate of treatment group was significantly higher than control group(86.67% vs 62.22%,P 0.05).Comparison of before treatment, the data of urinary albumin excretion rate,24 hours urinary protein, blood serum creatinine and urea nitrogen in treatment group after treatment were significantly decreased(P 0.05),and the data in treatment group was better than the control group(P 0.05).During the treatment, there was found two cases of adverse drug reactions in treatment group,no adverse drug reactions in the control group. Conclusion The clinical efficacy of calcium dobesilate is exact treatment of diabetic nephropathy, and no significant adversedrug reactions in clinical practice should be promoted.
