Abstract
[Objective] To study the effect of early rehabilitation training on motor function, activities of daily living (ADL) and secondary impairment of hemiplegia patients with cerebral infarction. [Methods] Patients in both rehabilitation group (80) and control group (80) were administered with toution cerebral infarction medicine, while early rehabilitation training was carried out in rehabilitation group. The training was averagely started 6 days after infarction according to early rehabilitation procedure, and last for 21 days, once a day, 1 hour for each time. The effect was evaluated by Fug1-Meyer (FMA) assessment and Barthel index. [Results] The motor function and ADL were significantly improved (P 0.05) in early rehabilitation group. Early rehabilitation training avoid or relieved the secondary lesion, which was significant compared with control group (P 0.05). [Conclusions] Early rehabilitation training has great significance to motor function recovery, ADL improvement and secondary impairment prevention of hemiplegia patients with cerebral infarction.
