The Competitive Research on Urban Competitive Capacity of Shandong Province

With the globalization deepening and international competition fiercer,how to improve competitive capacity has become one of the core substances of urban development strategies.Based on the discussion of the meaning and characteristics of urban competitive capacity,the paper builds up the indicator system,using the method of factor analysis to calculate the competitive capacity of 17 cities of Shandong province.Then by cluster analysis on 5 public factors of competitive capacity of 17 cities,this paper classifies all these cities into 7 types and devaluates them respectively.At last,it comes to the conclusion that there are large gasps of competitive capacity between the 17 cities,and the spatial differences are distinctive.
