Abstract
Objective To analyze the efficacies and complications of reformotive operation of hydroxyapatite orbital implants.Methods Clinical data of 32 patients underwent hydroxyapatite orbital implantation,who were followed-up for more than 1 year were retrospectively analyzed.Results Complications were observed in 4 cases(12.5%),of whom 1 case had implant exposure,2 cases had fissure of conjunctiva,and another 1 case had conjunctival granuloma.Conclusion The reformotive operation of hydroxyapatite orbital implants is a safe and effective method for plastic operation of orbital cavity.Complications could be reduced by standardizing the operation procedures and other measures.
