Construction of Water Conservancy Works for Hill Lands in Northern Hubei Province:Problems and Countermeasures

There exist some problems in construction and management of water conservancy works for downland in Northern Hubei Province.The countermeasures are: continuous matched construction in irrigation areas;taking such projects as Dongxi Gaogan Qu,Tangdong Bushui and Changshan Bengzhan into action;recovering irrigation capacity of all irrigation areas;building the system of diverse investment and financing;building water conservancy,meanwhile saving water totally;trying to advance the construction of water conservancy works for hill lands in northern Hubei Province to the strategic focus of Hubei Province.
