Abstract

Objective:To explore the inhibiting effect of silver nanoparticles (nanosilver,Nano-Ag) on influenza virus H1N1.Methods:By hemagglutination test, chicken embryos cultivation and cytopathic effect (CPE),the effect of Nano-Ag on influenza virus H1N1 was detected. Results:The hemagglutination titer was 1:4 in Nano-Ag/H1N1 group and 1:1 024 in the control group of influenza viruses H1N1(P0.001).Nano-Ag effectively inhibited influenza virus H1N1 proliferation in of chicken embryos, and the hemagglutination was negative in allantoic fluids of Nano-Ag/H1N1 group. However, the hemagglutination titer was 1:1 024(P0.001) in the control group.Nano-Ag 25 μg·mL-1 inhibited cytopathic effect and cell apoptosis induced by the influenza virus H1N1;apoptosis rate reduced from (22.0±2.4)% in the control group to (7.3±4.0)% in Nano-Ag/H1N1 group(P0.001).Conclusion:Silver nanoparticles display obvious inhibiting effect on influenza virus H1N1.
