Abstract
We aimed to evaluate the value of serum thymidine kinase 1(STK1) in screening the neoplasms of the urinary system in early phase. We employed dot-blotting-enhanced chemiluminecence assay to detect the STK1 level in carcinoma group(including carcinoma of prostate, bladder carcinoma, and renal carcinoma),benign group, and normal group. The results showed that the STK1 level in the carcinoma group and the normal group was statistical different(P 0.05).And the neoplasm group and the benign group also showed statistical difference in STK1 level(P 0.05).The data imply that detecting STK1 has clinical value in screening of patients with carcinoma in the urinary system.
