Abstract
Objective: To investigate the effect of MDA content and SOD activity in the lung tissue of rats with radiation- induced lung injury. Methods: 6 SD rats( clean grade, male) were randomly divided into control group, model group, treatment group, treatment group, dexamethasone group, treatment group and dexamethasone group, except the control group, the other groups were given X ray 20 Gy. At 2,4,6 weeks at different time points were killed rats, respectively, and the chemistry of thiobarbituric acid colorimetric method and xanthine oxidase method, the determination of the content of MDA and SOD activity. Results: in the model group, the content of MDA in the lung tissues of rats in the treatment group were decreased( P 0. 01),and the activity of SOD was increased( P 0. 01). MDA content from high to low order is the model group, dexamethasone group,100% treatment group, prevention group,SOD activity from high to low order for prevention group, treatment group, dexamethasone group, model group( P 0. 01). The prevention group was better than dexamethasone group and the treatment group( P 0. 01). The treatment group was superior to dexamethasone group( P 0. 05). Conclusion: radioactive lung injury associated with stronger lipid peroxidation,100 ling capsule, enhance the antioxidant ability of lung tissue by reducing MDA content and increase SOD activity.
