Abstract

German Functionalist Translation Theory is bound to come into being because of the development of translation theory,which liberates the translator from having to be loyal to the original text.It emphasizes the translated version's communication function in the target language culture,strengthening that the purpose of translation determines the translated version and the translation strategies.In this paper,the author analyzes the translation of the tourist texts from the perspective of the Functionalist Translation Theory.
