Abstract

Objective To observe the effect of curing dermatitis and eczematoid diseases with compound flumetasone ointment. Methods 138 patients were divided into 2 groups randomly, one as treatment group with 70 patients, with external use of compound flumetasone ointment, and the other one as control group with 68 patients, with external use of clobetasol propionate ointment. Both the 2 groups took two times daily for 4 weeks. Results The cure rate of treatment group was 54.29% and total effective rate was 88.58%.the control group was 35.29% and 73.53%,there was a significant difference between the two groups(all P0.05).3 cases of treatment group recurred,8 cases of control group recurred, and the difference was significant(χ2=3.48,P0.05).Conclusion Compound flumetasone ointment is worth popularizing for its safety and effectiveness in treating dermatitis and eczema.
