Therapeutic effect of compound flumetasone ointment in chronic eczema

Objective:To observe the effect of compound flumetasone ointment in the treatment of chronic eczema.Methods: Seventy-six patients were randomized into groups of treatment(n=40) and controls(n=36).Treatment group received external use of compound flumetasone ointment and the controls were given topical acetic acid kenonel for 3 weeks.Results: 92.50% of the treatment group responded to the therapy and 69.45% of the controls were responsive to(χ2=6.71,P0.01).Conclusion: Compound flumetasone ointment is superior to acetic acid kenonel in treating chronic eczema.
