Abstract

Objective To investigate the occurrence and antibiotics resistance of producing extended spectrum β lactamases(ESBLs) bacteria in hospital for better control and treatment. Methods ESBLs production was detected by means of phenotypic confirmatory tests(NCCLS,M100 S9),and GNS QB of VITEK32 was used to detect the antibiotic resistance. Results Among 266 strains of Escherichia coli,131 srains of Klebsiella pneumoniase producing ESBLs bacteria accounted for 21.0%,30.5% respectively,96 ESBLs producing strains were all resisted to ampicillin,ampicillin/subtan,cefzolin,cefuroxime,piperacillin,and highly resisted to gentamicin, ceftazime, amikacinand ciprolozacin, but all susceptible to imipenem. Conclusion Epidemic and resistance of ESBLs producing bacteria have already been very serious,ESBLs detection should be the routine of clinical laboratory of microbiology. To kill these bacteria, imipenem and other sensitive drugs can be used.
