Abstract

Objective To evaluate the diagnostic value of serum anti-cyclic citrullinated peptide antibody(anti-CCP) and rheumatoid factor(RF) in patients with rheumatoid arthritis(RA).Methods ELISA and TPNIA techniques were used to detect serum levels of anti-CCP and RF in 118 patients with RA and 96 non-RA patients. Results The positive rate of anti CCP and RF of patients with RA was significantly higher than that of non RA patients.Specificity And sensitivity of anti-CCP and RF were 91.67%,59.32%,70.8%,79.66%,either for the combination of anti CCP and RF was 44.07%,94.91%.The positive rate of anti-CCP in the feminine group of RA was higher than in the positive group. They had a significant gender difference and was having relevance. Conclusion The CCP anthibody might have very high specificity and might be used as a valuable paratmeter in the diagnonsis of rheumatiod arthritis.
