Abstract
Objective: Experimental study on the changes of serum level of tumor necrosis factor-α(TNF-α) and interleukin-10 (IL-10) in acute phase of acute pancreatitis (AP) in 68 patients was conduct to explore the rules of changes and their clinical implication. Methods:The serum levels of INF-α,IL-10 in 68 AP patients and 30 healthy subjects were tested by ELISA. Results: The level of serum INF-a and IL-10 in AP patients were significantly higher than that in the healthy controls (P 0.01). In the 1st day after admission, the serum levels of TNF-αin the EECARATs (SAP) were significant higher than that in the mild acute pancreatitis, however, the serum levels of IL-10 in the mild acute pancreatitis were higher, the difference was significant (P0.01). Conclusion:The serum levels of TNF-αand IL-10 are related to the development of AP and it can be the indicator of the early diagnose of ASP.
