Abstract
Effects of exogenous sodium nitroprusside(SNP),a nitric oxide(NO) donor, with three solution(10,100,500 μmol/L) on vase life and quality of cut Gerbera jamesonii flower were investigated. The results showed that NO resulting from 100 μmol/L SNP aqueous solution decreased wilt rate, increased fresh mass, prolonged vase life, decreased decomposition rate of anthocyanidin and retarded the increase of pH value and relative plasmalemma permeability in petals of cut G.jamesonii flower.
A significance statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
A contribution statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
Method details are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Findings are not separately available in the OpenAlex metadata.
