Abstract
Objective To evaluate the clinical value of ultrasonic elastography and two-dimensional ultrasound in diagnosis of breast benign and malignant tumors. Methods One hundred and sixty-three patients were detected by ultrasonic elastography and two-dimensional ultrasound, and compared with the pathological results. Results The sensitivity, specificity, and accuracy of two-dimensional ultrasound for diagnosing malignant breast lesions was 80.9%(38/47),98.6%(140/142),94.2(178/189)%,respectively.The sensitivity, specificity, and accuracy of ultrasonic elastography for diagnosing malignant breast lesions was 93.6%(44/47),95.1%(135/142),94.7%(179/189),respectively.It was compared with the diagnosing results of ultrasonic elastography and two-dimensional ultrasound, the difference had a statistical significance(P=0.041).Conclusion UE proved superior to two-dimensional ultrasound in the detection of breast malignant tumors. It has a significant clinical value in the diagnosis of benign and malignant lesion of breast.
