Abstract

This article mainly deals with toxicity of Paecilomyces farinosus ,its control effect on Tomicus pinipperda and its usage.Through experiments, the results are as follow:P.farinosus can cause a mortality 77% of T.piniperda adult during its shoot-feeding period, and a mortality 76.8% of T.piniperda adult during its trunk-attacking period. It can be concluded that P.farinosus is a microbe pesticide with high efficiency, and needs to be developed, manufactured and moderately used.
